Yosemite

Exploring California today. Looking forward to visiting places I’ve only seen in picture books.

we had a beautiful drive this morning. Smooth curvy roads and cool small towns so much to explore I will need to return again.

Introducing our rental, it’s a 2015 Chrysler 200 not a bad rig.

Yosomite is pretty amazing and does live up to the hype, we didn’t plan enough time for this area and will have to return sometime. The roads around here are all what I would call excellent motorcycling roads, I would Love to ride out here sometime.

The small town of Chinese Camp has an abandoned street of buildings with lots of character

This place in Sonora sells gear and rents motorcycles, probably not a popular place as it doesn’t look like they rent Vstrom’s

Original rust free cars and pickups are everywhere around here , amazing to me all the older vehicles not rusted away .

It is great staying with Don and Merle. They have shared some great meals with us and some chocolate ice cream every night. Cards and dice games have been lots of fun, We thank them for opening their home to us, I hope I don’t leave them the cold I have!
